A&A Doggy Daycare Policies
Policies for Safe, Small-Group Care
At A&A Doggy Daycare LLC, our goal is to provide safe, comfortable, small-group care with familiar caregivers and a dependable routine. Please review the policies below before scheduling daycare or boarding.
DROP-OFF, PICK-UP & ARRIVAL
-
Daycare hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Sunday daycare is closed.
-
Boarding care is offered seven days a week, but boarding drop-off and pickup times must be arranged in advance.
-
[All dogs must remain securely leashed from the time they leave your vehicle until they are safely inside, and again during pickup until they are secured in your vehicle.
-
Please text our business phone when you arrive, and we will let you know when we are ready to meet you.
-
Drop-offs / pick-ups can be made at any time, and we prefer a written notice beforehand. Late pickups after 5:30 PM will be charged $10.00 for every 30 minutes.
HEALTH & VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS
-
Dogs must be current on standard vaccinations, including Bordetella (kennel cough), before attending daycare or boarding.
-
Please provide current vaccination records before your dog's first stay and whenever records are renewed.
-
Required vaccinations: Rabies, DHPP/distemper-parvo, and Bordetella.
-
Dogs showing coughing, sneezing, vomiting, diarrhea, unusual lethargy, fever, parasites, or another potentially contagious condition must remain home until symptom-free for 5 days or cleared by a veterinarian.
MEET-AND-GREETS, INTRODUCTIONS & GROUP FIT
-
We recommend a free meet-and-greet before a dog's first stay.
-
Dogs are introduced to the group gradually, and care decisions are based on safety, comfort, and each dog's individual needs.
-
Not every dog is suited to group daycare, and activities may be adjusted based on weather, scheduling, safety, and group fit.
-
A trial boarding night may be required before a longer stay.
-
If a dog appears uncomfortable or displays behavior that may be unsafe for people or other dogs, we may separate the dog from the group and contact the owner.
DAYCARE SCHEDULING, CANCELLATIONS & PAYMENT
-
We intentionally maintain a small, personally managed group. Advance notice helps us plan safe staffing, introductions, rest, and activity.
-
Daycare and boarding cancellations or no-shows will not be refunded.
-
Payment is due at time of pick-up for flex daycare.
-
Payment is due 4 weeks in advance for boarding to secure your spots.
-
Accepted payment methods are credit/debit and ACH bank payment.
-
Core daycare package expires after 5 weeks after your first scheduled day, and are/are not transferable or refundable.
BOARDING REQUIREMENTS & OVERNIGHT ROUTINE
-
Dogs staying overnight must be crate trained.
-
Boarding dogs sleep in our dedicated dog room and are safely crated overnight.
-
Care includes a familiar routine with appropriate activity, outdoor time, rest, and direct owner involvement based on each dog's needs.
-
A trial night may be required prior to longer stays.
-
